Ar. Simon is a Senior Project Manager, received his training from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne & University of East London, and further completed his MBA at the University of Manchester.  

He had Design and Project management experience in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjian, London, Mongolia, South Africa, St. Petersburg, Middle East such as APM(HK), I-Square, Element Shopping mall, APM(Shanghai), Shangri-la Hotel – Hefei, Shangri-la Hotel – Ulaanbaatar and HKU Wong Chuk Hang student hostel - MiC Project.    
 

With a great passion for Architecture, Ar. Simon is not only making achievements in his job but also developing his career in Architectural writing. Ar. Simon had published more than 430 articles in his Architectural blog on various Asia websites. Simon has an Architectural column in Hong Kong, London, and Beijing Chinese newspapers. Simon has published 9 Architectural books so far and the “Arch- Touch” series is the best-selling Architectural book in Hong Kong.

 

Ar. Simon is Guest Lecturer of Hong Kong Institute of Construction and Tutor for Informatic Educational (HK) Ltd for the Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)  preparation course and the Hong Kong Institute of Construction for the Construction Management course. Ar. Simon is the first Hong Kong person to obtain the Qualification “PMI Authorized Training Partner Instructor”. He has trained more than 1000 Certified Project Managers since 2018.

 

Ar. Simon has made a significant contribution to Architecture; he was the Hong Kong Institute of Architect – Young Members committee Co-Chair and Honourable Treasurer. He has hosted various Arch-tour for HKIA, HKAC, HKTDC, National Geographic, etc. He has organized various Exhibitions in Hong Kong and Oversea such as   DesignInspire 2020 Inno Talk, HKIA exhibition at London Festival of Architecture, HKIA Exhibition at HKTDC, etc.

 

Moreover, He was invited to be the speaker for Joint Publishing, Sincere Bookstore, and elected to represent Hong Kong to participate in the ASIAN CONGRESS OF ARCHITECTS 18 and Design Talk in Tokyo.

個人簡介

許允恆建築師現職高級項目經理，畢業於英國紐卡素大學建築系、英國東倫敦大學建築系和英國曼切斯特大學工商管理碩士。他曾在香港、倫敦、紐卡素等地工作並曾參與香港、北京、上海、天津、倫敦、蒙古、南非、聖比德堡、中東等地的建設項目，當中包括香港APM、I-square、圓方、上海APM、合肥香格里拉大酒店、烏蘭巴托香格里拉大酒店, 香港大學黃竹坑宿舍—MiC 項目等。

由2008年至今，許允恆建築師以筆名「建築遊人」在香港、台灣、北京、新加坡等地撰寫建築網站，共430篇文章，並且曾在香港《信報》、倫敦《英中時報》和北京《中華建築報》等報章撰寫每週建築專欄，並曾出版《築、旅、圖》、《築覺I: 閱讀香港建築》、《築覺II: 閱讀東京建築》、《築覺III: 閱讀倫敦建築》、《築覺IV: 閱讀北京建築》、《築覺V: 閱讀紐約建築》、《築覺VI: 築遊香港》、《築覺VII: 築遊新加坡》和合著《筆生建築》。

許允恆建築師現時是香港建造學院客席講師，並於Informatic Educational (HK) Ltd任教Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)  preparation course 及香港建造學院處任教項目管理。許允恆建築師是香港首位考獲美國Project Management Institute (PMI)認可的PMP課程導師，他自2018年至今已訓練了接近1000名專業的項目經理並曾擔任不同企業的課程導師。

 

許允恆建築師熱愛建築，曾擔任香港建築師學會義務司庫、青年事務組聯席主席。多年來曾為香港建築師學會、香港建築中心、香港貿易發展局、National Geographic等多間機構合作舉辦建築導賞團並主辦過多場在香港及海外的展覽如DesignInspire 2020 Inno Talk、香港建築師學會在倫敦的建築展覽、香港建築師學會在灣仔設計廊展覽。

 

許允恆建築師曾獲邀為不同機構參與建築分享會，當中包括三聯出版社、誠品書店、深圳本來書店等機構。許允恆建築師更在2018年代表香港參與了在東京舉行的ACA18的建築演講會。
